User Terms

Introduction

These user terms apply when you download, access, or use CareLog. By continuing to use the app, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.

If the terms change, the updated version will apply from the time it is published or otherwise made available inside the service.

What the App Provides

CareLog provides tools for recording personal vehicle activity, including local account registration, vehicle profile management, repair and maintenance logs, fuel and charging records, inspection history, costs, mileage, notes, optional receipt photos, optional voice notes, deleted record recovery, statistics, Points balance, and StoreKit recharge features.

The app is intended for personal organization and vehicle cost tracking. Materials shown through the app are not professional mechanical advice, safety advice, legal advice, tax advice, financial advice, warranty advice, or a guarantee of vehicle condition.

User Materials

Content that you input, upload, save, record, or export through the app remains under your ownership. You grant us the limited rights needed to store, process, reproduce, display, verify, and transmit that material only as needed to operate the app and connected App Store purchase functions.

You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and backup of your own vehicle details, records, notes, photos, voice notes, exported reports, and other materials. We recommend keeping independent backups of valuable records.

Local Account

The app uses a local account system on the device. You are responsible for protecting access to your device. Local account deletion removes local app data on the device but does not remove App Store purchase history managed by Apple.

Points and Recharge

Points are an in-app consumable balance used for supported optional tools, including CSV export, PDF export, deleted record restore, receipt photo export, vehicle sale report, and backup package export. Point packages are purchased through Apple StoreKit and fulfilled after the App Store reports a verified transaction.

Points have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, cannot be transferred, and may only be used inside the app where supported. Points do not provide recurring access, paid status, rewards, gratuities, donations, or transferable value. Refunds, billing disputes, and App Store purchase records are handled according to Apple's policies and applicable law.

Rules of Use

While using the app, you must not:

• submit illegal, abusive, deceptive, infringing, or harmful material
• misuse the service or attempt to bypass purchase, security, sign-in, or access controls
• interfere with App Store transaction processing or verified purchase fulfillment
• use the app to store information that you do not have the right to use
• use the app in a way that could damage, disable, overload, or impair the service

Proprietary Rights

The service and its original software, interface design, visual assets, product names, and related intellectual property are owned by us or our licensors. Use of the app does not transfer ownership of those rights to you.

Service Disclaimer

The service is offered as available and without warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, accurate, secure, compatible with every device, or free of defects.

Damage Limitations

To the fullest extent allowed under applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses arising from the service, your records, purchase processing, data loss, device loss, export results, vehicle decisions, or inability to use the app. Where exclusion is not legally possible, liability will be limited accordingly.

Claims and Reimbursement

If your misuse of the service or breach of these terms creates claims, losses, or expenses for us, you agree to reimburse us for the resulting losses and reasonable legal costs to the extent allowed by law.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may limit, suspend, or end access when necessary to protect the product, our users, Apple purchase systems, local sign-in systems, or legitimate business interests.

Final Provisions

These terms work together with the privacy policy and form the complete agreement related to the service. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest will remain effective.
